Anxiety has many dimensions and manifests differently in each and every one of us. To address this diversity, we offer a range of interventions for any anxiety, whether deeply entrenched or just emerging.

Assessment

We conduct a comprehensive assessment to gain a nuanced understanding of each client’s unique anxiety profile. The assessment involves in-depth discussions with our client, their family, and any other individual who may shed light and add context. We ensure that each client receives a tailored treatment approach based on their assessment.

Therapy

The cornerstone for anxiety treatment is Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), an evidence-based intervention emphasizing the power of thoughts as distinct from one's self. Through CBT, our therapists help clients uncover blind spots that hinder them from reaching their goals and stop them from overcoming anxiety.

  • We offer various forms of CBT tailored to specific anxiety disorders, such as Exposure and Response Prevention (ER/P) for Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD), and Prolonged Exposure (PE), Trauma-Focused CBT (TF-CBT) or Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) for Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD).

  • Our clinic provides the option of individual or group therapy. Individual therapy offers a more personalized and in-depth experience, ideal for those who prefer one on one interaction in complete confidentiality. Group therapy, on the other hand, provides opportunity to connect with peers who are facing similar challenges, fostering shared learning and mutual support.

  • CBT is a time limited psychotherapy, typically spanning 4 to 12 months, though this duration varies. Some require booster sessions, and our clinic welcomes clients back if needed.

Pharmacotherapy

some clients require medication follow up for various reasons; personal preference, anxiety severity, or too many competing demands just to name a few.

Cutting-Edge Technology

  • Incorporating technology into therapy, we utilize Virtual Reality (VR) to expose clients to situations they may not have otherwise encountered, addressing a range of phobias from arachnophobia to social anxiety.

  • Additionally, we offer a dedicated app to facilitate therapy and confidential communication between clients and therapist, enhancing efficacy and accessibility.
